La Porte Hosts Chinese Students, February 2011

The Global Study Program between China Nankai School and La Porte High School, sponsored by La Porte Education Foundation, LPISD and the community, started on Feb. 10, 2011. La Porte community hosted 29 Nankai students and three lead teachers during their one week staying in Houston. the Chinese students and teachers visited NASA Space Center Houston, cheered on the Houston Rockets, toured Rice Universities and experienced Texas Ranch and Career Day with professionals from La Porte and surrounding communities.
