A delegation led by Mr. Jin Jianguo, Assistant Mayor of Daqing Municipal Government, visited Houston starting from August 27, 2006. During their visiting Houston, they had a meeting with Ms. Helen T. Chang, Executive Assistant to the Mayor, Director, International Affairs & Development office of the Mayor in City Hall of Houston; a meeting with Mr. Bob Schwartz, Director, Energy Program, Houston Technology Center, Dr. Doug Selman, Former VP of R&G, ExxonMobil Chemical Company in Greater Houston Partnership; a meeting with Dr. Monte Blue, President, San Jacinto College, Mr. Eric Lookofsky, Chairman, East Harris County Manufactures Association in San Jacinto College Central Campus. They also visited MD Anderson Cancer Center and Golf Coast Waste Disposal Authority and toured Deer Part, the petrochemical industry district.
